Favourite Brands: Iconic London…

I thought that for my blog I would start a series of posts that featured some of my favourite brands and my favourite products from them. The first brand I’m going to feature is Iconic London. I love this brand for highlighters, my favourite liquid highlighter is from them and I use it every day without fail. I can’t complete my makeup without wearing it! By my blog name, you can probably guess that my favourite product to apply are highlighters, every time I do my makeup I like to achieve a glowy look. I have also featured Iconic London in my first YouTube video, it’s an October Favourites… I would love it if you had a watch, the link can be found in the Menu tab!

  • First up is the Iconic London Shimmer Palette. I can’t find this on the website so I’m not sure if it is still being sold but I had to feature it because the shades are gorgeous! Also I love the packaging of this brand, its so sleek and simple but looks classy and looks so gorgeous in my makeup storage!

  • Next up is the Strobing Stick. Mine is in the shade Shine and I love how easily it blends, its so creamy and goes on well over foundation. It gives a natural glow and makes cheekbones pop. It has a pearly pink finish and looks gorgeous next to blush. You can build it up to go from a radiant look to a more intense, dewy finish. I have swatched it below so you can see what it looks like on the skin!

  • Saving the best till last, this highlighter is used by so many bloggers and celebrities and I completely understand why. It is used by the likes of Kim Kardashian and Jourdan Dunn to give them an effortless, radiant glow. It is the Liquid Illuminator and comes in three shades, all designed to suit different skin tones. Mine is in the shade Original and it matches my skin tone perfectly. I have used this for so long now and I don’t think I will ever stop using it. It is so easy to blend, I usually apply it over my foundation with my beauty blender. It only takes a few dabs to blend it in and there you have it, a golden glow! For a more intense glow, I apply it with a damp sponge after spraying my face with setting spray. It gives you that wet, dewy look but somehow still looks natural.

“It’s the glow you dream of in a bottle.”

I believe this highlighter was originally limited edition but is now a permanent product on Iconic Londons website because it was so popular and always sold out. For me, it is honestly the glow you dream of in a bottle. I always apply it to my cheekbones and the tip of my nose but if I want a more intense look I apply it on my brow bone, inner corner of my eyes and my collar bone and shoulders. It gives such a healthy, gorgeous finish. I usually set it with my favourite powder highlighter, which is Champagne Pop by Becca Cosmetics X Jaclyn Hill and they really are the perfect pair. I love that you can either use it over foundation or add a few drops to your moisturiser or primer and either way it is so blendable and easy to use. This highlighter really does deserve all the hype it gets, it really is iconic!
