L’Oreal Elvive Dream Lengths…

When it comes to my favourite brands, L’Oreal is with no doubt up there at the top of the list. I have been a loyal follower of the brand since I started to wear makeup and have never strayed. You will always find me using something by L’Oreal everyday, whether it’s makeup, skincare, haircare or my favourite tanning product. I was lucky enough to be able to try out the new L’Oreal Elvive Dream Lengths range and I have been using it consistently since. I have always loved using L’oreal hair products (I have used the Fibrology range for forever!) So when I found that this was designed especially for long hair to avoid heat damage and split ends, I was so excited to try it out. I have quite long hair but it is suspectible to split ends and it breaks easily when brushing, therefore I have it cut regularly to maintain its healthy state.

This is the Dream Lengths Restoring shampoo and it is made with a mixture of ingredients including keratin, vitamins and castor oil. It makes my hair feel really clean and is good for everyday use. The smell is gorgeous and it is consistent throughout the whole range. This shampoo is also designed to protect your hair against breakage when brushing and drying, which I definitely need as my hair gets everywhere!

The Dream Lengths Detangling conditioner is perfect to use after the shampoo and it really nourishes the lengths of my hair. It isn’t too heavy and makes my hair really easy to brush, making tangled hair less of an issue! It is a really creamy formula and makes my hair feel super soft.

The last item that I tried out was the Dream Lengths No Haircut Cream. This cream can be used on wet or dry hair and is designed to decrease the occurence of split ends, stating that you will not have to have your haircut as often, saying yes to those dreamy hair lengths! This cream is also designed to prevent heat damage, if you apply it before using styling tools, it can protect up to 180ºC. I have also applied this cream to my hair at night as a hair mask and my hair feels so soft and smooth in the morning. Also, when I use it after a shower in the morning, the smell lasts all day which is an added bonus!

So, they are my thoughts on the latest L’Oreal haircare range! I do think that it’s good to have your haircut every eight weeks or so in order to keep it healthy and strong but this cream should help to make it less suspectible to breakage and damage in between those visits to the hairdresser. I wanted to review this range on my blog as I really have been loving it and I would definitely recommend it. Also, just wanted to add… how pretty is the packaging, I love how vibrant the pink and orange are together, it makes me think of summer!

I hope you enjoyed reading this post, if you did I would love it if you followed my blog (in the menu tab) and also comment below and let me know what your favourite L’Oreal products are! If you are interested, here is a link to my makeup tutorial using a full face of L’Oreal products!

  1. Hi Nadia I have read all your.opinions on L’oreal Dream Long…it sounds just I need….my hair is very long down my back and I always try to keep it in perfect condition but finding the L’oreal Long here in Italia is not an easy task….and I detest buying on line…I always prefer to see the product before buying….therefore any input from you would be much appreciated…..Grazie…Saluti…

    1. Hi Gina,
Thank you for your message! I’m so glad that you found this helpful, Dream Lengths really is a great range! I’m not too sure where the easiest place to get the range from would be in Italy… the only thing I could suggest would be looking in any pharmacies or supermarkets that stock cosmetics! If not, maybe try contacting the L’Oreal customer service for Italy as I’m sure they will be able to help, I’lll link their twitter for you! https://twitter.com/lorealitalia
      Hope this helps!
